okay wow I am actually writing one.
UMM OKAY UHHH
Firstly, [glow=red,2,300]WELCOME TO MY FORUM[/glow]
Basically, I am pretty lax on my rules, the biggest thing I ask is RESPECT AND LOVE FOR EVERYONE because if you are here then it's probably because you have followed my work somewhere (yes I am being full of myself here. go figure). And I will not have my followers beating each other up!
Seriously though, here are a few rules to follow... and probably ones that we should implement eventually.
#1: Introduce yourself when you arrive! Tell us a bit about who you are~
#2: Please use some semblance of proper communication. If English isn't your first language, that's okay, but no L33T speak or random "here take an hour to decipher this because I'm funny" shit. I DON'T HAVE ANY TIME FOR THAT OK
#3: I have set up a MATURE section for people who want to talk about more adult stuff, since my readership includes a younger set of people. I'm not saying any of them come here but if you'd like to rant about life or be emo or just talk about things that are probably considered a more mature topic then go there. However! This does not mean cyber on my forum.
#4: don't be a jerk. That's really the big one
#5: leave your DRAMU at the dooor. I honestly don't care if people rant, but don't take the hate out on fellow members when it isn't their fault. If you have an issue with something somebody said, either PM me or deal with it privately. More than likely I, or another moderator (when there is one) will step in and say "dude that isn't cool" but know your boundaries.
#6: don't post stuff that isn't yours without proper credit. By this I mean no posting other people's art in the art forums and passing it off as your own or if you need to post an example, or a "hey i like this" type post, make sure you source link or something somewhere in the post so that the artist can receive the credit for making it. That is also a big one for me.
Let's see...
Other things? Try not to double post too much, try to stay on topic. If your conversation veers off from the original topic, we have some nice off-topic threads that punkus and myst kindly set up :3
But obviously the biggest rule remains: don't be a dick. Don't be racist or hate on people and if a discussion becomes too heated and angry, agree to disagree and move on. I would like to keep the forum as drama free as possible.
Oh and... if you are buddies IRL... don't have a "hey who is picking me up after school" conversation on my forum Pick up the dang phone or IM each other omg
Aaand that's really all I can think of?
If anyone wants to add anything, feel free. I'll edit this post and add it in. Sorry it's kind of disjointed at the moment but I am kind of a derp and forget stuff.
