This is for those of us who are not confident in our drawing abilities, but draw anyways because it's fun.
Wanted to be here because I personally am very nervous to post pictures on the internet. I'm afraid everyone and their mother would be all like, "this sucks, don't make topics for your sucky drawings/don't waste posts with your sucky drawings!"
I'll post some pictures this Friday.

Sounds like a good idea! :>
People should be more confident in their ability to draw. Maybe a thread like this will give the courage they need! I look forward to your later post :3

Umm, i can post some drawings today, but I need to post them somewhere in order to do it. =/ Suggestions? Edit because I made a Deviant art account. and then again cause i cant figure this out. >_> a friend made me draw it I drew this based on a crumpled up piece of paper Whenever i doodle it usually turns into her =P I draw alot of emo people because I don't have to draw both eyes. I'll post more later. Attachments:

When I drew the sixth one I was trying to draw Great Lord Fire Bear, Lord of Physics (inside joke thing) but it didn't look threatening enough to be him, so it's a cat boy. . . In an artistic sun. . .
Thank you for the comments ^.^

my style changes alot since I am trying to improve though I hate how bad I am :/, I've been drawing since I was like 4 and have not improve depending on your age I bet you CAN improve I'm 18 almost 19 and I was in art college where I made my discovery of how bad I are. I can go more specific in off topic topic later if I feel like it haha

You and I are about the same age, but I've never seriously drawn. I've never been able to color, but I'm looking for software to do that (I know that's cheating, but my ability with a computer is better that my ability with my hands.)

not really no, but you actually can improve still since you haven't drawn much, I'm set in stone since I have been drawing a long time and haven't improve but I bet you can I guarantee it.

punkusjr, those are a lot of emos lol. But yeah, I think that though you can stand to make improvements (in the end, we all can :3), what you lack in other departments is made up with what looks like a natural talent in design and placement. It especially shows in your sunny-catgirl picture! It has a stable sense of symmetry without being overly symmetrical (which is easy to do, believe it or not). Also, your proportions, all though obviously not anatomically correct, are interesting and do have some balance to them that work well. And don't worry, good drawing software isn't cheating. It is just another medium to draw in. If you get better at drawing in the program, that is your technical skill advancing, not the program itself. Programs don't make the art for you, unless it is fractal art. XD mystmyst, your work is just fine too! Your faces need a bit work, but from the shots I see with bodies, the rest of the bodies are actually pretty good on their own too! I think your greatest strength might be in colour. You seem to be good at balancing colours on a character (I don't know if this also constitutes as a nat-talent in design or not, but I will just call it that until someone yells at me and says I am wrong and that it is something else). Also, for the record, your abilities are not set in stone! For shame, keeping yourself down like that and denying the possibility that you can get better. You can! It might be hard, but it is definitely not impossible. It might just be harder to get better as you get better maybe, because there is so much more to accomplish added on to each step of the way. But you can get there. Don't sell yourself short!

Thanks for the comments Rinabean.
Your like that generic anime character that never talks, but when s/he does, their words are always really smart.
