@punkus: awesome! when you find it please post it :3c and yeah Cronus. He was the crazy guy who tried to eat all of Zeus's brothers and sisters, but I guess most people forget about him because Zeus castrated him and who wants to be remembered like that, right? :c
@rina: that's great! Reaper 101 with Ajahli! Heh!

just looking at Wikipedia: the polish image of death is similar, but he wears white, and supposedly (I only take stuff from Wikipedia semi seriously) the traditional image of a shinigami is similar to ours of the reaper.

really? that's pretty interesting! I guess it makes sense though, since alot of the "shinigami" types I see in animes have scythes or wear black robes or something similar.
White as a color for death is also pretty cool. For some reason I like the idea of white as a color to wear in funerals or to symbolize death. I don't know why.

oh neat You know, I guess I just figured most cultures protrayed death as either a skeleton or generally as male. I guess that's why I like the Sandman. I guess that's probably why I got all obsessed with grim reaper mythos xD Cause Death was a badass girl and why couldn't girls be badass mythological figures??

There's Athena and Artimus, although being gods is cheating I suppose.

I thought Athena was the goddess of war and Artemis was...*fumbles*
okay I give up *looks it up*
"In the classical period of Greek mythology, Artemis (Greek: (nominative) Ἄρτεμις, (genitive) Ἀρτέμιδος) was often described as the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. She was the Hellenic goddess of the hunt, wild animals, wilderness, childbirth, virginity and young girls, bringing and relieving disease in women; she often was depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows.[4] The deer and the cypress were sacred to her. In later Hellenistic times, she even assumed the ancient role of Eileithyia in aiding childbirth."
unless you meant "not all cool deities are boys" then I just made an ass of myself xD

No I meant there are cool mythological female figures, just that most of then that i can name off the top of my head are going to have more cool because they are gods. (being the goddess of just about every badasses traits makes Athena quite legit though. =D)

Question! Do reapers often need a lot of counsiling? I guess it depends on how they died, but is it normal to have someone spend a lot of time having to get over their deaths?

Hmm it depends on the individual, I guess. Maybe those who had violent or sudden deaths need counseling because they were unprepared or feel like it's unfair? And maybe those who died from long term illness or something are more or less okay with it because they saw it coming. Charlie's was sudden, I think she may have had a bit of a hard time dealing with it, at first, but she is adaptable, as we have seen. (We will actually learn more about that soon...) It really just depends on the person's personality~
