(//_-) I had a wall of text typed up, but then I hit the back key. . . Sigh.
Brawl in the family is good.
Xkcd is hit or miss.
Complaints about another we comic that died before I found it.
Talking about how I was afraid you did the same on your long break.

ugh oh man I hate it when that happens D: HEART BREAKIIING~
And yeah I know the feeling. There are a few really awesome webcomics I stopped reading because they died out and didn't update again for a while. Hiatuses are kind of a death sentence for webcomics, and, in my opinion, so are re-dos. By the time you come back everyone has already moved on to other stuff. But I've kind of taken that risk again and again that when I go on hiatuses I sort of...expect it. lol. Which is probably not a good thing.
I consider GRS my job. The job I actually WANT. So, naturally, there will be hiatuses when i need time off, or when the day job gets too busy that I don't have time to draw. I can reassure you though, even when I have thought about giving up and letting it die, that GRS won't be gone anytime soon. I've got a lot of ...stories I guess you could say, that I want to tell. So I've had that chat with myself a few times about how I can't let it die, not when I'm just getting to the good stuff. I hope I didn't frighten too many people though ;^; but rest assured GRS will continue no matter what! I'm determined to see it through to the end ^_^

Okay I did a manga raid at the local bookstore again. Maximum Ride 2, Nabari No Ou, and I picked up Shakespeare's Hamlet.
I have weird tastes.

I've been meaning to say... I read the last two Hunger Games books the other week. And Oh. My. God.
Y'know when a reviewer describes a book as "unputdownable"..? I never thought that could be literally. Like, you start reading and you go "Oh just one chapter and then I'll go to bed" and then the chapter ends on a horrible cliffhanger and you need to find out what happens so you read the next chapter, which ends on an even worse cliffhanger and then it's four am and the sun is rising outside. Yea. That.
So I read Mockingjay in pretty much one sitting, straight through, in one night. I haven't done that since I read Lord of the Rings at 14 and stayed up 'til four in the morning really gripped as Frodo and co hid from a Black Rider under a tree root.
Still working on my Sherlock Holmes collection. I'm into the short stories now, beginning with "A Scandal in Bohemia" I'm enjoying so much, spotting all the things that are referenced in the movies and the BBC series. And Watson angsting over the lovely Miss Morstan. (D'aww.)

I saw that book when I visited your house Cazzie and dang. That book could do some damage! I've been meaning to read them too, since my only real connection to "Sherlock Holmes" was The Great Mouse Detective and what I had learned from everyone else since I was little. (yes, yes. I was introduced to Sherlock Holmes via a Disney movie. shaddup) Keep us posted on your progress!

You would enjoy the Baker Street Babes podcast Ajah. (If you ever get really into the series anyway); One of them is a huge Great Mouse Detective fangirl.

Oh my God, you guys. I've been reading the Matt Fraction Hawkeye comics. And I love this Hawkeye, he's such a massive massive dork. I really hope they bring some of this character into the movie!Hawkeye (who we didn't get to see much of so far.) I'm calling him Dorkeye from now on. Also also, Adventure Time comics! The first story of Volume 3 ("Choose Your Own Adventure Time") is honestly some of the cleverest comic writing I've ever seen, ever.

Oh man I really want to read the Adventure Time comics! Glad to hear they are good!
I have been reading the Soulless novel. I read the manga first because I had a hard time latching onto the writing style, but now I'm going back and re-reading it. It's very witty, and funny, and it has vampires and werewolves and an independent spinster preternatural named Alexia and her Scottish werewolf who offends her "delicate sensibilities".
It's pretty great~

I got an eReader recently, and I'm really happy with the whole e-ink thing. I've using the having an ereader as an excuse to download epub versions of the light novels on Baka-Tsuki and reading them on it.
I also just reread the first five volumes of the Amulet graphic novel series, since apparently the sixth volume is going to come out soon.

Oh man I have the first two but I keep forgetting about it!
I used to have a tablet but my younger sister broke it, so I think I may just use my phone or something. Do you use kindle or nook?
