Hmm, I just wanted to see if it's good. I'll buy it when it's cheap maybe. Gaming is so expensive, esp. when you have no job. D=

NOOO! Oh well. One for you, one for Jade then xD haha~
By the way, I found the Final Fantasy PSP game in my brother's desk while I was cleaning. I am going to keep it for myself, which means Ajah is becoming initiated with the FF-verse through something other than fandoms and Kingdom Hearts. YEAH!

So I just finished Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and oh GOD that cliffhanger was evil. I'm so glad I have Revalations on the way already because the suspense might just kill me. (Seriously, they get worse and worse every time.)
Which Final Fantasy is it that you found Ajah?

Double-Post FTW! Sooo, Assassin's Creed: Revalations arrived (which is not where I've been all week - just some of it ). There might be some small spoilers in here, (mostly of the "this person exists" variety.) But I'll try to keep the really big plot specifics out of things. I have to say, I'm really enjoying it so far. There's a lot more "day-to-day running of the brotherhood" stuff as opposed to building it up from scratch or going from one mission to the next. There's also a really pervasive sense of melancholy throughout the game. Between the events of the last game, Desmond's current situation and all of the conversations with Subject 16, the way the the Animus sections switch between Ezio (who is now in his 60's) and Altair (his life from young adult to very old man). And there's a more detailed Desmond backstory, which is so freaking lonely... I may actually finish this game in tears. I have to say though, the melancholy is there, but it's not focused on to the point of being an over-angsty mess. There's just a general "end of an era/passing the torch" feeling; which is appropriate with ACIII on the horizon. (Part of the soundtrack is actually called "passing the torch", and it's gorgeous.) There's the humour moments too, mainly Ezio flirting with women, every other sentence Yusuf says, and not forgetting; the Shirley Templar. (It's a Shirley Temple with gin, apparently). Hell, the whole soundtrack is great. Some of it is even stunning. A lot of the really emotive stuff gets lost in the "OMG! Plot is happening!" in the cutscenes, so a lot of what you actually hear is the background music of the various districts. (Which is pretty, but not as good as the character themes or the big event music.) ACIII is out in October, so I'm trying to pace myself to beat it before that comes out, but not with so much time to spare that the inevitable evil cliffhanger drives me crazy.

I beat revelations a while ago and, unknown to me at the time, my brother had pre ordered AC III for me before I was even sure that there was going to be a third one. I can't wait for it to come out.

So Torchlight 2 will be out in a couple of days. I got my Xbox headset working with my PC so I'm super-excited. I don't get to play much with my BF these days since a lot of what he's into doesn't run on my PC, so it'll be nice to play online games with him again.

Right. So... I've played a fair few games since I last posted and I need to have a bit of a squee about them.
First of all... Tales of the Abyss! OMG! Perfection!
It's just... such a good story, and so well told! Every revelation is hinted right from the get-go; when I get round to playing it again it's going to be fun spotting all the little hints and such. In particular, Guy's story is kinda, subtly dropped into the plot in little ways, and bits of it are in side-quests and such, until the point where the plot focuses on him and you're sat there going "What?!"
The villains are brilliantly written and OH SO sympathetic. To the point that when you have to finally kill one of them once and for all, you actually want to avoid the confrontation. One of the characters even says "If things had been different, I might have been on their side instead of yours."
Guy is my favourite character, followed by Jade. Jade and Guy interacting with each other is a whole new level of hilarious.
As well as that, I've been playing Tales of Graces F, which I'm not as into as I was Abyss, but I'm still really enjoying. Abyss has made me paranoid though so I pretty much play all Tales of Games with the assumption that everyone in the party is keeping a secret (and if they aren't, it's because they don't know it themselves; they still have one.) Pascal is awesome and I may have to cosplay her at some point.
I've also got my hands on the collector's edition of Journey. If you have access to a PS3 and you haven't played Journey, you should go play Journey. It's amazing.
And of course Animal Crossing. If anyone wants my friend code I'll be happy to share it~
